I was on base today and saw this PSA. Seems like the Secretary of Defense should worry more about hunger among the troops than facial hair and chubbiness.

I joined @marylandppc.bsky.social and faith organizations such as @fcnl.bsky.social for Moral Monday to protest the big, ugly, blasphemous bill. As one speaker noted, "We are not going to sit here and watch our neighbors die."

Organized by Brooklyn Friends, Quaker Walk 2025 is approaching our nation's capital city. Some local Friends offered hospitality at a pit-stop in Kensington, MD. Tomorrow advocacy will happen to demand due process & kind welcome to the stranger, as Quakers were welcomed in NY hundreds of years ago.
