My mental health as a fed employee can be described as a single shot of espresso in a tequila shot glass
Part restraint, part escapism, slightly rebellious (in a symbolic sense), self-medicating with the tiniest allowable dose, self-soothing with aesthetics, savoring the small joys

#Frozen #landscape painted through the POV of binoculars, featuring ice fishers we saw on Lake Winnipesaukee this winter. “Orange Coat” was out there all day doing their thing, joined off and on by assistants. We were very impressed by their tenacity.

A tiny, stained-glass heart painting I made for Valentine’s Day last year. I add a new tiny painting each birthday, Valentine’s Day, and anniversary. Filling in all the fragments with different gradients was very meditative and relaxing.

Here is some #pottery we made for “date night” at Studio 550 in #Manchester, #NH. 🍯 I made the pieces on the right our first time (the pros did the glaze and handle) and we brought the fam for the second time (left) and will have our final pieces ready in a few weeks 😊

I had just gotten metallic #watercolor paints and white acrylic pen, so I experimented to see if I could create water effects over this turtle swimming through a coral reef. A less realistic and more graphic/illustrative style than I usually do.
