In Duke Nukem 3d, there was a “Quick Kick” button that kicked with one leg, and the Weapon 1 kick used the other leg, so you could bind them next to each other and bicycle kick fools like Liu Kang 3d

Aahhhhh came to say this. A variant of this was in Duke 64, where you could only kick with one leg, but you could use the Steroids to run super fast and make the kicks insanely powerful a la Doom's Berserk. Always a treat to spend 30 seconds tearing around kicking everyone into pieces.

Fully agree, since being radicalised by Duke Nukem 3D deathmatches. When two newly respawned players were facing off with just their fresh pistols, using bound keys to be able to simultaneously fire *and kick* gave you the critical extra DPS to come out on top, and hilariously to boot (as it were)
