true but tbh if he’s able to bring tiktok back without a mandate to sell, i’d let him have that win as a good thing for free speech. i think more realistically he’d bring it back by postponing the ban & keeping the mandate to sell, which bytedance will never do 🤷🏼♂️

a lot of people were surprised to see this messaging from the CEO but at the end of the day it’s a calculated move alongside turning off servers a day early. we’ll have to see how this plays out but the one thing i’m confident of is that they absolutely won’t be selling the app in the future
