It's wild that Trump is doing more damage than his first term while working even less when his first term routine was logging into his phone at 6am and RTing FOX News' top story at 7am.

Should be angrier than I am. Injury-bitten and having the bad fortune to meet a Miami team that finally came together under Messi. Took em long enough.

Proud of how we fought and the win over Chester is a top 10 franchise win of all-time. A truly great memory to lord over their asshat fans.

I really miss old school NYCFC Twitter tonight. Keep waiting for Bill the Butcher to post the victory gif.

Nights like this make me miss Old School NYCFC Twitter so much!!! Would be popping off right now. Damn.

I know the crossover between Eagles fans and Union fans is small but to to see their collective hearts get ripped twice in one day would be fantastic.

A 100+ passer rating with a 25% comp percentage is insane.

It's the easiest possible win. Keep the sadists happy by blaming his adversaries in the government and pretend to keep litigating it while not actually doing so. Knowing him, he'll fuck it up but I'm sure the GOP hopes he takes the gift.

Got him on my fantasy team and he’s saving the day. I’m a Ravens fan and we already lost to KC and Buffalo so not much to consider here lol.

Think Notre Dame actually improved with Freeman. I know he trips on his shoes but he’s at least won some playoff games.

I get that beating up on bad teams is the hallmark of a good one but that Ravens squad was missing its all-everything QB and quite literally all of its above-average defenders. Houston’s defense is really good tho.

It's just a jersey, Michael. What could it cost, $10?

The sacred knowledge I hope that party never discovers is that if they cleaned up on healthcare, they would dominate American politics for decades.

My biggest takeaway from last November onward is that Americans don't like Trump but they HATE the Democratic Party. More than anything, it seems people just sat home rather than show out for Harris. And that feeling hasn't really changed.

The first time I visited New York when I moved to college, my dad and I were listening to the radio in the car and an emergency broadcast warned that a tiger was loose on the Jackie Robinson Expressway. The most "Welcome to New York!" moment I've ever had.

Ravens fan here. I'm sure the Cards have playoff aspirations but as we don't know how long Madibuike will be out — or if he's coming back — I'd love too see us get him.

"By failing to defend their values, (Democrats)...looked weaker in the eyes of the very young men they needed to reach."

I don't wanna relitigate 2024 but this is why I'm still bummed Harris dropped the weird line. It successfully "othered" MAGA and gave fenceline folk a morally-guarded place to go

I once swore I'd never dig on younger generations for what they like but I have to break that oath because holy shit, that guy...

We got my son into a new therapeutic program a week before the year started. First two weeks of the school year have felt like an extended win. Nice to see hard work pay off.

Couldn't have gotten through the first few years of parenting w/o PBS. Cannot imagine what the alternatives would be, especially if I lived in an area with little-to-no wifi access.

There’s truth to that but I think post-2016, he discovered the lure of punditry and never looked back. It’s an easier racket than data accumulation.

This seems like a simple answer but I really do think it's the unconscious manifestation of legacy media legitimizing Trump and leveling the playing field for him because they're trapped in a binary.
September 5, 2025 at 11:01 PM
I was and I am too but more because that’s what tends to happen in midterms.

Also, the clashes between Trump and a Democratic congress will bring about constitutional crises the interpretation of which will last generations. It’s gonna be wild.
