Wind turbines, solar panels, transmission pylons = blight on the landscape

Fracking = ?

I am looking forward to seeing how they square that circle with their rural voters.

When the UK backpeddled from "zero emission" to "net zero", it was essentially a concession to fossil fuel interests, who obliged with bogus promises of biofuel and carbon capture & storage. Since then, net zero has somehow taken the meaning of radical, disruptive change when it is anything but.

Bang on, @zackpolanski.bsky.social. I think this is exactly the kind of leadership we need to bring progressive policies back into the public consciousness. If I wasn't already a member, I'd have joined purely to support your leadership campaign ... and maybe get a like on Bluesky. 😆

From that perspective, I respect your concern. My priority is to stop the lurch to the right that is happening across society. With another party, I think we can win more hearts and minds and build a greater overall voter base. This approach worked for the right, perhaps it'll work for the left.

I vote Green, and I think @zackpolanski.bsky.social is an incredible leader in prospect, but a new voice on the left could help shift political discourse away from a fascist abyss. For that reason, I welcome this new socialist party and I look forward to seeing how they develop.

The impact of greenhouse gas emissions is an abtract subject for most, but the extreme heat, floods and droughts and all the issues they create are plain to see. It would be interesting to explore whether Reform UK accept that, regardless of the cause, the climate IS changing and we must adapt.

I am proud to have built my career around sustainable transport. But given global politics, I am regretfully now considering whether UK investment is better directed towards climate change adaptation rather than mitigation. Happy to sign this petition, and thank you for your tireless advocacy.

Really happy to hear this. As a Green Party member and former Labour Party member, I don't agree with others calling for you to join the Green Party. A new left-wing political entity could help shift the needle on political discourse in the UK, and that is sorely needed right now. Best of luck.

Sod smart charging and flexible home energy tariffs - let's have demand-side management for AI!

Offer discounts for people to wait so Chat-GPT can process their query overnight. Or charge extra if they insist on a response in peak hours.

I'm sure the big tech firms will love that... 🙄

$250m, huh? Nothing an A380 Aerobribe can't fix.

So far, I think the UK Govt are playing this about right, but it is naive to assume we can go much further without taking sides. As it stands, only a fool or a tool would put the US ahead of the EU on trade.

Imagine Lincolnshire having a blackout because Reform stopped National Grid from installing transmission pylons.

Labour have three years to decouple gas and electricity to give the electorate time to see what really drives electricity costs in the UK and put this anti-renewable wokery to bed.

At this price, don't be surprised if they have somehow found a way to mess up the fretwork on a fretless instrument. 😆

Nobody can be invulnerable to this kind of abuse. I hope you find the time and energy to look after yourself like you look after others.

Born in Earlsdon, but moved out before you took office. I very much regret that I was never one of your constituents. They've got it good!

I have one of these in cream. Love how it looks! Pros: The vibrola is really nice, it plays well, great access to upper frets, interesting variable coil-tap on stacked P-90s. Cons: It weighs a tonne (agathis body!), positions 2 & 4 very bland, and generally sounds a bit grungy for my liking (YMMV).
