Our researchers use a variety of models, including DEPONS (depons.eu), which simulates the effects of noise disturbance on harbor porpoises.

By simulating how noise impacts their movement and foraging success, DEPONS can assess the impacts of offshore wind farm construction and ship traffic. 🛥️🐬

True. It merely highlights where the animals are most sensitive, if there is an impact of OWF. There will be another report on cumulative effects on populations later this year.
