Another day, another field. Today Parliament Hill for the London XC Champs. Decent runs from the women's team for 4th, but the day belonged to the men with Seyfu winning and leading home a winning men's team with Barry, Andy and Chris. Great turnout all round too. #running #london

First XC race in seven and a half years in the shape of the North London XC Champs. It's been a long time, and a long road. Way back, but ahead of me the London Heathside men's team comfortably won, as did the women in a slightly tighter race. Individual medals too. #running

It's one of the great nature sights of the east coast, and a sign that it's really autumn. After a few small groups, this was my first big skein of pink-footed geese over Cupar.

Clissold Park was doing well in the sunshine. Lots of (common blue) damselflies around the meres, like flying electricity. A speckled wood butterfly, a whole gang of cygnets and I do like an Egyptian gosling, invasive or not.
