New: WorkerLoader binding, LogPushJob, bun‑spa → multi‑entry.
Fixes 🛠️: CF bindings (duplex + R2 jurisdiction), CLI init cleanup, on‑demand containers, dev assets/buckets, DLQ, stricter IDs.

I think this reduces to an adjacent yet similarly interesting question: When, if ever, will Software Engineering have its “Tacoma Narrows” incident?

*Can* we possibly make such a grave error that the entire industry is forced to rise to a new level of professionalism and rigor? If so, what is it?
how many times does AI have to fuck up production systems, expose secrets, or give unintentionally elevated access before the majority of folks think it’s a bad idea?

looking for a ballpark estimate, because I know we’re past my threshold already

I'm so incredibly proud of #SlowWays!

❤️ @slowwaysuk.bsky.social

Here's a short thread of maps to show what we've achieved so far - thanks to the efforts of thousands of volunteers.

This first map shows 5,500 routes that have been given good reviews 👍 or are verified 🐌✅

Watched Spirited Away yesterday because Studio Ghibli has been on my mind. If No-Face isn’t a perfect characterization of genAI, I don’t know what is.

The sooner we recognize that we will never satisfy an insatiable beast and their apparent gold rush is a mirage, the better.

Hey you know, just a gentle reminder. These are tough times. They’re tough for everyone in different ways, in different spectrums, because SO many important things are under attack.

Let’s try to be kind to one another, ok? It doesn’t cost much.

We’re stronger when we show each other grace.

NEW: Tesla will recall nearly all the Cybertrucks it has produced to repair a stainless steel trim panel that the carmaker said could become detached from the vehicle while driving.

It’s the eighth recall for the distinctive all-electric pickup, which hit US roads just over two years ago.
Nearly All Cybertrucks Have Been Recalled Because Tesla Used the Wrong Glue
Tesla says it will fix the sticky issue—which could cause panels to detach from trucks while driving—with a new adhesive “not prone to environmental embrittlement.”

CLAUDE AI CAN FINALLY SEARCH THE WEB!
The best part, it includes CITATIONS!

Love seeing this. Cloud 3.7 has become one of my go-to models, especially for coding-related questions. I feel like it has been really good at what it does.

Plus, its UI capabilities are incredible!

Neurodivergent Senior software engineers, how do you go about the interviews?

Any advice you learned the hard way?

Just finished the impl of node:crypto ECDH for Cloudflare workers. Once that lands, node:crypto support in Cloudflare workers is generally complete modulo some small nits for stuff we won't support.

This was 💯 % my goal when working on 🔮 query.gg. You shouldn't need to re-learn everything just because some APIs change in the future. The concepts we're teaching - observers, staleTime, hierarchical keys etc - are what matters to work effectively with @tanstack.com react query

when i joined Bluesky, i wasn’t planning to take a job. but Bluesky fit a perfect intersection of my interests (react, open source, microblogging), and i couldn’t pass an opportunity to contribute. with the app being more polished and atproto better understood, it’s a good moment for me to move on.

bittersweet news: today is my last day at Bluesky. 💙 i’m very thankful to the team for letting me learn many new things on the job (including React Native). i’m wishing them luck in the improbable — but inevitable — task of making decentralized social media usable and competitive.
