Anaïs likes to be outside more than Ambrose even. He used to like hanging out at night by himself. Just sitting in the grass being quiet — such a good kid.
But Anaïs is not that kind of dog. She is definitely out there patrolling, like Buffy — she is vigilant, if nothing else, & lives for the chase

Today is the first day Ambrose has smiled since we lost Zooey. He's really aged in the past few weeks, but I can tell from his body language that he's getting through it. He's really assumed the big brother role & completely stopped being a puppy. Anaïs has changed him so much already! It's wild
