Did another quick speedpaint job today, this one is King Hekaton, king of the giants!

I haven't painted anything recently, so here's something I painted a couple of months ago: the ancient blue dragon from my profile picture! This took me about a month off and on, painted with just regular acrylic mini paints.

I started a new playthough of Baldur's Gate 3 recently. Shadowheart and I are cleric buddies and, yes, we have matching armor.

I'm pretty much ready for the #dnd session I'm DMing tomorrow. My players are most likely going to make it to Maelstrom, the storm giant fortress, so I have a bunch of storm giants ready for them to encounter!

I also painted this storm giant woman. I meant for the clothes colours to look a lot less vibrant, but I think it looks not bad like this.

I decided to go with a green and brown color scheme.

I also partially got this other storm giant painted. I love how the skin turned out. I'm not entirely decided on the color of the cloth parts. I'm thinking maybe a dark green colour?

Finished another quick paint on this storm giant tonight. The purple looks better than I thought but my favorite is how the metal turned out!

I've also got a surprise for the DM today: it's a mini of the Oracle of War from the series we're playing through! The model isn't perfect, more like an artistic interpretation, but I thought it would be cool to have an actual Oracle of War prop since people keep coming to try and take it from us.

Here's the old mini. I remade it because 1. The character has changed a lot since level 1 and no longer really uses his axes and probably wouldn't look like a blacksmith anymore 2 that mini has broken and been repaired a few times now so it's fragile and 3 my painting skills have improved since then

Playing D&D today for the third time this week! Today is an adventure league in Ebberon. I'm premiering the new mini I made a for my character over Christmas break too!

Storm giants are all specific characters from Storm Kings Thunder modeled by the amazing MZ4250 who has released hundreds of free models. I also painted this frost giant Jarl Storvald recently.

I had a productive day today! Painted some quick giants for the game I'm DMing. Three storm giant princesses and a fire giant.

Painted some quick frost giants recently for the game I'm DMing using 100% speed paints. I'm impressed with how good speed paints look on highly detailed models! These 3 plus the two in the next post took 3 evenings of painting. These 3 frost giant models are by White Werewolf Tavern.
