One thing Republicans are good at is sticking by their politicians even when they say the most vile stuff imaginable. If you like what Graham Platner has to say TODAY, then why did you “wobble” at all because of things he said a decade+ ago?

Ok this is the thing people are dunking on today but I think “it’s a barely functional Minecraft clone” is the wrong angle for crtiticism.
It’s just like making fun of older AI images for having weird hands or whatever. They got better and that argument went away.

Is there a name for this aesthetic? I know it's primarily used by Simon Stålenhag and in movies like The Creator, but it's like, rural, often Americana foreground, apocalyptic sci-fi background.

Anyways, that tweet keeps popping up with examples of like “yeah patrons at my restaurant don’t know what’s on the menu” anecdotes and it’s like, I don’t know… I think most people can read until someone shows me authoritative evidence of otherwise.

You know those things people say on Twitter sometimes that gain enough traction they just become like, commonly accepted truths, but ONLY on Twitter, and ONLY because one person went viral for saying it without any sort of source or data to back it up?
