At the very least before making other plans a quick follow up should have been sent. Everyone leads busy lives and it’s easy to think you responded when you may not have. I think this is on him. And agreed - you DID solidify specifics. A courtesy “confirming we’re still on” was an easy solve for him

I can only know what I think truly, but I’ve been told that by women I’ve seen before. But always nice to hear again. I get in my head most times that I’m somehow not making our time enjoyable enough for the other person.

I can only hope that our actual time together feels like anything BUT work for you all. Part of what makes me happy is the belief/hope that we’re able to create easy conversation and relax into a few hours where we don’t have to think about all the other stresses in life. The lead up is part of that
