Me too! The last truly local con I attended was when FAU was still in NJ, so I'm super bummed to realize I missed another one so close to home :<

This was the fit, and the more I look at it the more I have to agree 😭😭😭

When I had the initial issue with my wrist, I was distraught that I couldn't draw even when I truly wanted or needed to, but I think I was also a little bit relieved in a way I didnt fully understand. It got me away from the side-hustle mindset that was literally everywhere and just let me reset

When things were financially tougher I tried out of necessity to make something I genuinely loved doing and found intensely cathartic into something i could market or sell as a side hustle, and in doing so I think it lowkey started to make me resent creating in general.
