In the NIH's 2025 Budget Request, Director Bertagnolli features #LongCovid prominently.
But nowhere in the document does she ask for the money required to actually pursue more research.
Long Covid is simultaneously a justification for funding, and not actually worth researching.

Currently on the HICPAC meeting and these are the recommendations being discussed to prevent hosptical acquired infections.
Talk about the smallest possible improvements.
What about asymptomatic infections? What about people who are infectious longer than 7 days?
