According to Google, Vallejo's been devastated by a 3.6 earthquake 😀.

I'm working on a basic handout about my YIMBY group to provide at a Community Resource Fair this weekend. If anyone wants to provide any feedback - especially about the terms, which I tried to simplify as much as possible - I would really appreciate it.

Went to the Los Robles Hospital protest. Should have brought a smaller flag. Good turnout (mostly not visible in the image), lots of supportive honking, and uneventful while I was there except for a pickup driver that coal rolled the protesters on both sides of the street.

Just found an Instagram post that says he left behind the car he drove to the campus and boarded a bus. That appears like a reasonable explanation:

Based on the footage of the killer jumping off the roof and running toward the wooded area, was he parked in the nearby neighborhood and he slipped through between ROTC and a Center for Natl Security Studies, or a campus lot where he would've doubled-back through traffic, or was he staying nearby?

Conejo Valley has some housing going up!

This is probably going to come across as insane, but since blue states haven't managed to get their collective act together and build anywhere near enough housing to meet the need, here is the only other alternative that I can think of that doesn't involve the priced out being expected to disappear.

Oh, Nextdoor. I might have to actually start visiting you in order to soak up the sweet, sweet NIMBY tears as even more long approved projects begin construction.

I was only at one end of the crowd. This is from when I drove past the main gathering about half an hour prior to the other images. People were crowded along the road for maybe a half mile.

My city is showing up!

Not absolutely certain of it, but I think this was in Oxnard/Camarillo. The tree line and structure in the background sure appear to be the same as Laguna Vista Elementary School at 5084 Etting Road in Oxnard.

Hopefully, they are much wiser about this and more considerate of human life than our country is.

It is the weekend. It is supposed to be my time to relax. Why do I choose to do this to myself? 😭

Just out here, communing with nature...

(Only a gopher snake, though it tried to be intimidating by hissing and curling up like a rattler).

Maybe an accidental forward instead of reverse? It's hard to imagine a car making it to the planter off of Las Posas.
