Binged all of #ThePaper and found it pretty solid. It’s definitely hampered down by how few episodes there are (probably the streaming mandated amount) and how the “everyone gets an award” finale doesn’t quite feel earned, but this could grow into something great. I hope it’s given that chance.

It’s a big year for them.

I’m very grateful for #SethMacFarlane and his continued mission to put a focus on the lost/forgotten big band, Jazz songs. His latest album gives an idea on what certain tossed aside Sinatra charts could’ve ended up sounding like. The arrangements are lovely and Seth’s voice remains perfection!

As a season of television, I can’t help but be a little disappointed with the way they’ve decided to adapt #TheLastOfUs for season 2. That being said, it still has some incredible moments of horror, suspense, and tender humanity. Pedro and Bella once again give it their all.

I found myself really taken by SEVEN VEILS. The story of a woman using art to process trauma, while also having to reclaim the narrative from someone who had her trust, but used it carelessly. I think there are certain things that could’ve been fine-tuned, but I found this really engrossing.

Finished #YourFriendlyNeighborhoodSpider-Man and my biggest takeaway is that Colman Domingo continues to be one of my favorite actors working today. His voice fits perfectly for animation, and if possible, I’d love to see him play Norman Osborn in the MCU.

Before the Superman trailer drops today, I watched the latest CREATURE COMMANDOS. I don’t know how James Gunn quite does it, but he manages to find the beauty/tragedy in the most oddball characters. Never expected to tear up over Weasel, but Gunn has that magic touch.

Finished up #TheCreepTapes tonight. Really great series! They make use of the anthology format well, and I especially loved getting more insight into Peachfuzz. I would still very much like a Creep 3 please!

Had my wisdom teeth taken out today, but everything is alright because of the first two episodes of CREATURE COMMANDOS! I can already tell I’m in for a great show, due to how funny and imaginative every aspect has been so far. Killer voice cast, great animation, and fun action!

Watched two movies recently that kinda got buried/overlooked this year that I quite enjoyed. #StarveAcre is a great folklore, slow-burn horror and #MothersInstinct is a suspenseful, paranoia fueled, 60s suburban thriller. Check em out!

#Wicked was amazing and everyone should see it, but if you’ve got the time, I’d like to recommend #Spellbound on Netflix. A very sweet film with an original, wonderful soundtrack.

Just wanted to give props to the most recent comic book shows. One a dark descent into a depraved and cold criminal underworld, and the other is campy fun witches tale that later reveals its soft, beating heart. Can’t recommend either enough! #ThePenguin #AgathaAllAlong
