What is the current state of public archival initiatives such as the wayback machine and project gutenburg? Are we in danger of losing this history and the publishing of historical books?

Hey, I just saw you are presenting on Irish emigration to Canada during the famine at roots tech, congrats. I’ll try to attend remotely. I’m searching for where my wife’s ancestor James McGuigan b. abt. 1822, came from when he emigrated to Canada in about 1840 I think. I also have a Jackson line.
