Chronic kidney disease
Chronic heart failure
COPD
Severe infections
Sepsis

I’d really like to have the authors upload the gene count matrix for the omics experiments. Really annoying and computationally wasteful to have to reanalyze the raw counts.

Very interesting — the low Ile mice eat almost twice at much as the other groups, but don’t really gain weight! Wondering if you looked at nutrient absorption through fecal calorimetry at all? Are they just failing to absorb the nutrients efficiently?

Science funding is in jeopardy. I think the average citizen would not think this is a good use of research funds, and would not see the part of the story that this work was done by a private company.

I’ve been asking ChatGPT very specific scientific questions related to my field of study. Usually the answers are a bit shallow, but more often than not, correct and based on published articles (that it properly cites)

If I’m reading this right, they only asked the AIs to tell them where the block of text is coming from, which is a function much better performed by search engines. This is not the same as asking chatGPT a question and it giving you a completely incorrect answer
