They spend no money on special teams and then they expect the guy to make chicken salad out of chicken sh*t. This is most likely a GM problem, not a coaching problem.

The offensive line has gone from abysmal to league average. While that’s a tremendous year-over-year improvement, average offensive line play tends not to win Super Bowls.

For those of us who are not hyper-online and live outside of the DMV… What is this and why does it matter?

Given the Ford trade, do you think that Mitch will be back?

Bonds and Clemens are a no-brainer. Fernando should be in the Hall of Fame as you cannot tell the story of baseball without including him. Not for his on-field performance, but for the impact that he had with fans and future generations of Latin players.

The national signing day has gone from being like the NFL draft to something more akin to the MLB or NHL draft. Very few of these kids will be around at UW in a couple of years and fewer still will have a meaningful impact given annual free agency and roster churn.

I once mentioned that I had seen double digit Black Flag shows and double digit Grateful Dead shows amongst my older sensible friends and they looked puzzled. Gen X had a lot of fun times in our lates teens and 20s 😬

Pathetic

It’s sad how far this franchise has fallen. Long gone of the days of packing Mile High Stadium or Coors Field and watching a fun team full of characters play every night. It seems every move that this ownership team makes is a middle finger to the fan base.

I read it (and reread it). You don’t seem to have a strong POV in the article. He seems to be a contender for a roster spot, but I am not sure if that will be in 2026 or 2027 given his age.

What is your POV on Colt Emerson in 2026? Could he be a candidate to make the club out of spring training and start at third base or split time with Williamson?

While odd for American parents, I remember Asian parents accompanying their sons to graduate school in the mid 1990s. Complete with moms doing tai chi on the quad in the morning.

2003 Red Sox vibes. Need to make a manager change if they’re going to get to the promised land.

She is fabulous and a great example of what makes Seattle sports media so much fun compared to other large cities. A lot of diverse voices and perspectives.
