Awesome work, keep it up! I’ve been playing JRPGs on the switch to while I bike, it has become my favourite part of my routine

My theory: camera control is a big subconscious part of this. Much simpler in 2D, took ages to improve in 3D. Mario 64 graphics are now charming but camera remains clunky, compare to the excellent Mario 3D World camera that you don’t even think about.
