100% not my experience teaching at Sheffield- a lot of paper COVID students are very engaged and very very ready to chat and ask questions - tho I do think the essay quality has been affected.

Did you see the guardian story about the guy who got arrested by armed police for having a mini gardening sickle outside his house to trim some bushes, and a utility belt with other bladed tools on? Someone reported him for having a knife in public.
