Baked (perhaps cremated) some cheese scones for work tomorrow. I’ve been telling them all how much better mine are than those they sell there. Starting my promotion next week so I have finally got round to making them. 1:1 cheese to flour ratio because I want cheese scones to taste of CHEESE

It’s only taken about five years but I got my ear pierced today! Nerves went away on the walk to get it done, piercer said how weird it was that I was so calm getting my first piercing 😂 Now to let it heal and get a hoop in!

Also, Jesmond Metro Station is probably my favourite of the purpose-built metro stations. Perfect example of the late 70s/early 80s aesthetic of the Metro that seems to be slowly getting replaced with black and white. Surely a contender for a listed building status 😎
