I think episode submissions used to matter when Louis Anderson and Merrit Wever and Margo Martindale (and even Cranston and Dinklage for their first wins) we’re winning, but now it’s pretty clear the voters just put down whichever show they like best for every category, which is a shame

My prediction would be THE PITT, with Wiley taking actor too - whenever a more standard formulaic show with prestige sheen comes along (such as HOMELAND), it beats the more challenging shows.

I suppose Borisov has quieter scenes that allow the film to linger on his performance (the smoking scene, the ending), whereas Eydelshteyn’s performance is a bit more “one note” within the more chaotic part of the film.

I feel like it’s an example of the adultification of kid culture. Kids are even being priced out of toys now. No wonder they just spend all their time gaming and online, what else are they supposed to do?
