You’re defending corruption because why? You WANT bent politicians? Fair enough. Can’t imagine why though. You know full well that it won’t end at suits. I couldn’t give a damn that he’s greedy but the hypocrisy grinds my gears. We expected better, we got the same. Won’t be fooled again.

No idea why you are defending ‘ just a few smart suits’ or free use of a donors house or whatever. Corrupt is corrupt. There are no degrees of corruption: you either are or you aren’t. You can’t say they are different from the Tories because they took less. They should take nothing.

Two wrongs don’t make a right. What kind of argument is that to make anyway? So far we’ve had Starmer freebies, Rayners tax dodge, Siddique buying property for a dictator. Labour are at the trough alright.
Just read the article.

Last I heard this is still a democracy. I’m expressing my democratic right to criticise ANY government that prioritises the wealth of corporations over the best interests of the people. I’m clearly not alone in my views a the Caerphilly by-election demonstrated last week. You don’t like that? Tough
October 26, 2025 at 5:35 PM
Where have I said that? If you think children should have to rely on charity to get a square meal a day, you’re a cunt mate. Why not empower poor parents to provide for their children?
October 26, 2025 at 5:02 PM
Fine by me as long as it improves society.
October 26, 2025 at 4:57 PM
I’ve not said they should, but they could certainly do something about the cost of living. Isn’t that government’s job? Not wasting time and effort defending Israeli hooligan scumbags for one example, or standing grinning on stage behind a war criminal and a fascist dictator for another. Priorities

Have you ever spoken to somebody on the very edge of survival? I do that every day and it breaks my heart. These are human beings we are talking about. They aren’t politically savvy for the most part: they haven’t the luxury of pissing about online debating manifesto pledges: too busy worrying
October 26, 2025 at 4:52 PM
I pay full tax on my money and am happy to do so. I also have to graft 12 hours a day, six days a week for what I get. 100k a year is not as much as you seem to think once you remove 45% for tax and NI, council tax, road tax, insurance etc etc. Christ knows how minimum wage people survive
October 26, 2025 at 4:48 PM
Well it makes no odds to me as I own my house and earn £100k a year but the point you seem to be missing is that all these tiny wins you mention mean absolutely nothing to the majority of voters. Put money in peoples pockets and they won’t look for that from exploitative liars like Reform

Article in the Guardian just today that Labour donors have been awarded over £150M in public contracts. Hmmmm

As somebody who works almost entirely for private and social landlords and, in that role visits around 1000 properties a year, I can categorically state that the vast majority of tenants are finding life as difficult under Labour as the Tories. Rent rises faster than salaries.
October 26, 2025 at 1:57 PM
All of that means absolutely nothing when you can’t afford to heat your home in winter and your children are hungry and all you see are prices rising but company profits ballooning.

You know, the REAL issues people are dealing with every day. Fix those and Labour will be voted in for decades.
October 26, 2025 at 10:17 AM
But where is the difference? The hope? The light at the end of the tunnel? What we voted for?
You can’t expect people to just accept that ‘ hey, at least they aren’t as bad as the Tories’ when there is actually nothing tangible to back up that point.
October 26, 2025 at 10:02 AM
Mason and Kuenssberg have a podcast don’t you know? They think they are ‘personalities’ or even worse ‘celebs’
Obviously reporting facts in an impartial way is beneath them now. In Kuenssbergs case, it always has been. Absolute poison.

Nothing positive then?
October 25, 2025 at 6:23 PM
Already starting with the antisemitism slurs I see? Good to see Blue Labour have found something they are consistent on. Why not focus on the positive changes Starmer has made to the lives of core Labour voters since he was voted in?

I witnessed a seventy year old man sing that song at Karaoke on Brighton Pier many years ago and it remains one of my life’s cultural highlights.
October 25, 2025 at 3:50 PM
What is with these overtly racist female politicians? Patel, Braverman, Badenoch, Leadsom, Mahmood now this idiot.
I mean, do they not realise that the equally idiotic racist men, who they are trying to impress, think they should never have been let out of the kitchen, never mind given the vote.
October 25, 2025 at 3:38 PM
Fair point, well made. Apologies for my rudeness. Kindest regards to you.
October 23, 2025 at 9:39 PM
Can you point to a single instance in the past eighty years where our nuclear weapons have stopped us becoming involved in armed conflict? No? Me neither. Russia doesn’t need any other weapon than money to destabilise this country by paying trolls and political players to subvert the public

It’s going to be like the War of the Roses.
October 23, 2025 at 9:14 PM
You still think these guys are playing the same game as everybody else? Barron Trump will be next in line. The other two don’t have what it takes: nobody takes them seriously but Barron is being groomed to take over by his mother. There is no other reason she is still in the picture

We need to turn that bunker into a tomb.
But somebody needs to throw the first shovelful of dirt into the hole
