Maybe, if they paid more tax, and stopped messing around with our employment and housing laws, we could actually give careers their dignity.

We knew before hand it wasn't, trump doesn't do friends, just marks.

Isn't that exactly what is happening now, under FPTP?

The point of pr, is to have a system in place, where representative democracy is actually representative. It's unfortunate up to 25% of the population want a far right party, but that is still their voice. I think fptp is ridiculous: a system, where a party, 75% oppose, could get full control.

I don't have a problem with temu and aliexpress being stopped. I could come up with better ideas in 15 mins, 2 years is just lazy.

You say fast, its taken them about two years to do anything, and it's not even consistently applied.

Correct its simple, but that doesn't make it good, and actually it does effect EU citizens. It does help EU companies compete with low cost chinese imports, but it does impact citizens negatively, and not just with increased costs on goods.

It was meant to be for people sending parcels to each other for things like birthdays etc. Not large corporations to circumvent tariffs. So normal people lost out on this. I am not saying they shouldn't deal with the issue, but it's an untargetted sledgehammer of a change, and as such its regressive
November 14, 2025 at 4:01 AM
It's a bit irritating that, they chose such a regressive way of fixing the problem.
November 14, 2025 at 12:14 AM
I've not read that article, but as I understand it the reason is large Chinese wholesalers, Temu and AliExpress have been taking advantage of the loophole by sending lots of small parcels to warehouses in the EU and not paying tariffs.

I'm already angry about this, don't claim credit. Clearly you've not woken up looking forward to a nice homebrew, only to find cheap supermarket water flavouring in the cupboard, falsely claiming to be quicker. That and meat paste, you can call it pâté, but you are only lying to yourself, sickos.

You know full well he is either going to do a chairface chippendale, or invade Venezuela.

Honest feedback, You need a better fitting jacket, if you are buttoning it up, or an overcoat, I wish it were a fat phobic thing. I have a much further expanding middle line, it's a presentation thing.

Because installing random plugins on the thing I do emails and finance means I want to check it over. I can do a code review if you want. But it is for purely selfish reasons.
