My favourite thing about birds is I probably spend 60% of my time thinking about them and yet every day I find a new one. 'This can't be real' I say, 'I would have heard about this'. And it's always real and so weird and brilliant. Silly creatures with endless forms most wonderful.

Got this message from my dad right now and it made me realise he was very influenced by this clearly 😂 Amazing how much people this is reaching, I love seeing people realise museums are active places of research!
