I went to grad school in Vermont, and I gotta say that hearing a protestor shout "I hope they give you fake maple syrup tomorrow" to the Vance motorcade . . . that's about as harsh as it gets. People are definitely angry.

Having worked in international education and international development, I'm concerned about the lasting effects of this draconian decision. While it only accounts for 1% of US national budget, the work of USAID is invaluable. #USAID #diplomacy
