Bureaucracy and red-tape cannot simply go away. Communities must come together and organize their own firefighting and crime fighting brigades. While whole communities are burning, it was the bravery and efforts of a brave few that saved their houses without help from firefighters.

It’s a sad truth. LA had become a money haul for most politicians and people in power. During the fire, people probably hesitated using their water to protect their homes because it’s too expensive. I suggest LADWP to give FREE water to red flag warned areas so they hose their homes water

homeowners restrict themselves of water usage because it’s too fucking expensive and LADWP is a scam. I used to live in a gated community and because it’s a group of homes, we pay commercial rate water. At an average, I pay $600 a month for a family of 4 in a two bedroom home. Now I only pay $200.
