Twenty plus years ago I remember law professors extolling the non-partisan Federal judiciary. Relatively, our judiciary is fine, our Supreme Court is enabling a fascist takeover of the country.

Act Blue makes a lot of money as a pass through. They can handle a meritless DOJ investigation. It’s a terrible pain in the ass but also keeping them from going after someone else with fewer resources.

I believe that New Orleans has the most conservative immigration judges in the country.

Absolutely devastating cuts to the Black Lung program at NIOSH. They do important work on research and screening miners for black lung. As black lung has surged in recent years this is a terrible thing to happen for a lot of families.
