Metroid fans went wild this morning. It seems like we might have the next era of Navi, but at least we got so many jokes it ended up being a highlight of my day.

With Petilil I've finally caught all the shiny lines of Hissui Pokemon in Pokemon Legends Arceus.

This has been a journey that has spanned several years, and oh boy was that last one brutal. But I'm so glad I was able to finally achieve this goal before even touching Legends ZA.

Like this Tucannon is from 2022, and yet I highly doubt its even the first Pikipeck I ever caught in Go.

This was definitely one of those lines that you would have just assume could already be shiny eons ago.

I did make the drawing intentionally dark to fit the mood and have some fun with the lighting effects. But now that the season has passed, here's a version of the drawing without the mist, dark filter, and glowing effects to better appreciate the character details.

A drawing a large group of characters from my OC, Overseer of the Elements, dressed up and gathered together for Halloween night. Similar to the previous drawing but with the dark filter and lighting effects, such as glowing eyes and fog, removed. The party is dressed up as an assortment of characters from the movie "Sharkboy and Lava Girl". Front and center is Sara as Lava Girl. To the left we have Jade as Sharkboy, Sole as the Ice Princess, and Ironia as Max. With Techie to the right of Sara. She's dressed up her wheel-chair to look like the character Mr. Electric. Complete with a large round shield of his face for her to cover herself with, like a mask. The main exceptions to the group costume include Nayla, who wanted to do her own thing with a "sexy robin hood", and Joe, the large breaded man in the back left, who is just here to chaperone Sole and Irona. Though he quickly put together a gladiator costume so that he wouldn't be completely stick out. Speaking of, he's looking back because he can't shake the feeling there's something suspicious going on in the bushes. Speaking of, it looks like various members of the Shadow Claw are hiding in the bushes. With Sol Spirits of all elements surrounding the party and making up the background.

In the background are the main heads of the evil Shadow Claw organization, stealthily hiding in the bushes with their eyes glowing in the dark. Excluding the one in glasses who's shouting out trying to get the attention of her idol, with the other trying to get her to shut up before everyone notices them. In the far background there is an assortment of water Sol Spirits, fogging up the sky and a pair of wind Sol Spirits sleeping in a tree. A comic of some members of the Shadow Claw organization, brainstorming ideas to take over a town with their dark powers. It begins with the large bulky one shouting the following, "Alright fam! How we gonna take over dis town?" The others shout the following, "With Art!", "With science!". The one on the far end of the table looks tired and drained. She responds with the following. "By actually attacking and hurting them?" No one else in the room was happy with that comment. The leader looks at her, upset with a very imposing face. The bulky one looks forward with eyes open with a shocked faced. The girl who made the snide comment immediately realizes she screwed up, and you can see it in her face. The final panel shows the girl being thrown out the window, glass shards scattering, into the mountain side outside the building.

Day 27: Redesign
Decided to attempt redesign the OG OC.
Mostly just for the sake of this prompt. I there's enough that I like about this design that maybe some of these aspects will stick around...

A simple sketch of my OC, Jade, looking up with arm out. A drawing of my OC Jade after an attempt to redesign them while still keeping the elements that made the character themselves to me. They have their hands behind their back while looking forward with a small smile. The hat remains the same, with it's overall blue tone, with the yellow, sideways J tilted to its side. With blond hair, slightly tilted towards gold. For the torso, they now wear a yellow t-shirt with a blue jacket overlapping it. The jacket consists of a yellow stripe down both sleeves Along with yellow sun and star patches on each shoulder. Near the zipper portion of the jacket, on each side are some pins. On top is a pin of the sun, while underneath it is a pin loosely in the shape of a fire Sol Spirit. Their sweatpants are a blue, slightly darker than their hat and jacket, with a thin yellow stripe down each side. Near the pockets are some small round buttons. Their sneakers remain red.

Meh, I was going to do the OC video Wednesday and the next game dev short Friday. But screw it! I decided to swap the dates around because tbh, with a thumbnail like this, this video will likely be the closest I get to a Halloween special and Halloween just so happens to be next Friday...
