This is off the top of my head.

These sorts of inefficiencies happen on quite literally a daily basis. Everybody in the system knows this. Everyone.

Yet what is the government’s diagnosis?

“Juries. They are the problem. Get rid of juries.”

It is absolutely mind-boggling.

Our new report: local political parties are renting out office space to MPs — who claim the cost on expenses.

But in most cases, they pay no tax on that income — or on rent from local businesses.

We reviewed 630 sets of accounts. What we found is a systemic failure. 🧵

Let me tell you how means testing goes.

First they means test it.
Second they means test it some more.

Now most people don't receive it, so they can get rid of it.

So when someone says they want to means test something, really what they want to do is get rid of it.

I've now seen the full thing, and it's even more hideous. Zelensky comes out well, though. As for Trump and Vance, and some of the press corps, it's a mark of their cowardice, quite as much of their allegiances, that they would never talk to Putin in this way.
This is really disgusting. Naked bullying by Vance and Trump of a far better and more courageous person than either of them.
Vance: "Just say thank you"

Zelensky: "I said a lot of times to the American people".

Vance: "You're wrong. You know you're wrong.

Trump: "You have to be thankful... Your people are lying."
