I grow stuff, like doing a bit of photography and dabble in politics.
Of course, Scotland should have its independence.
Brilliant comeback. Well done Scotland.

...and they seem to be obvious contributions but Labour are shamefully thinking about austerity as an option too and are just ignoring the brexit disaster.

Great to see Zack Polanski giving it up 'em!

It is but Labour haven't shown any recognisable policy to even start to fix it.
People are desperate for change which Labour promised and they feel cheated.

I'd add that I didn't know who Glassman was either.
November 13, 2025 at 2:18 PM
I think Gardiner got wind of Glassman being on and knowing what he's like, decided to gatecrash, to redress the balance.

Good of Victoria Derbyshire to make space for him. It made for good viewing. As he said, public can't see any direction.

He did seem to have issue with 'progressive'policy!

After reading your article, I watched the news newsnight episode. Very entertaining! I thought you were joking when you said Barry Gardiner walked in, uninvited - but he did! As for the comment 'Barry Gardiner is spot on' - he was too.
As for Glassman, he seems closer to a Tory than many Tories.

The 'special relationship' with the US is no longer very special is it? He spends a lot of time criticising the UK and its institutions.

Scotland has a special name for Trump though!

BBC Scotland's viewing figures for their news output shows that the BBC died a death in Scotland some time ago.
After the UK Westminster election, I fully expected Labour to quickly address the political appointments to the BBC but, nothing.
Starmer is bereft of any policy that fires imagination.

It was BBC Nick Robinson's lying piece to camera during Alex Salmond's speech that encouraged me to join the SNP.

Scandalous reporting at the time.

Effort at accuracy, ok - but it's what they leave out of the news that is sometimes condemning.
It needs an overhaul and this is a good start.
November 9, 2025 at 6:31 PM
Excellent news.

It's blatent racism. ITV/STV have the same story.
Are we now to refer to everyone's nationality in all stories in the news?
What a sad state of affairs.

I can't imagine who his target voters are now - apart from the millionaires and billionaires and there's not enough of them to get him into Downing Street.

Surely those on low wages, benefits and pensioners would never vote for him...would they?

First time I've watched it in a long time. Was desperately wanting to be there so I could knock a glass of water over 'the twat'.
There's always one.
October 30, 2025 at 11:40 PM
Exactly! That's all they want and we need immigrants in the workplace - desperately.

It's bonkers.
I'm sure the majority of those asylum seekers have no family or anyone they know, in the north of Scotland, that they can stay in contact with.
It's politically motivated cruelty.
One of the first policies I hoped Labour would tackle was asylum applications- they've failed miserably

I think Scotland knew that GB Energy was a con when it was first mooted.
I can only imagine the 15 are twiddling their thumbs.

The Internet can't shut down soon enough to stop this madness. I'll happily do without it.
