My Dad has stage 4, treatment resistant prostate cancer. I thought I had come to terms with this devastating diagnosis, but now I see what some people are saying about Biden & the threadbare bandaid is being ripped off again.

My flight home from St. Louis was cancelled yesterday & I wanted to cry. As I wait for my 5am flight & focus on moments of joy, I hear a laughing group of women in matching birthday shirts & flower crowns & there's a kiddo LOVING the airport playground. Their joy is helping me reframe my attitude.

Another @aapor.bsky.social annual conference on the books for me! I'm giving myself 2 weeks before I start planning for #aapor26 in LA.

Thanks for the #aapor25 lessons, connections, & St. Louis BBQ.

Gooey Butter Cake from Salt + Smoke in St. Louis is a 10/10. No notes.

Okay, St. Louis. I'm working from my #aapor25 hotel room tonight - where should I order dinner from via DoorDash?

Looking for something quick and fun to do during your downtime at #aapor25? The St. Louis Aquarium was pretty cool!

I am loving all these protest pictures from around the country! But if you are posting pictures, please take a minute & block out people's faces for their safety.

At least my parents are impressed I was mentioned in @washingtonpost.com even if it was just as the 'middle woman'.
Very cool article from @andrewvandam.bsky.social about survey question effects that focuses on the "ancestry" question in the U.S. Census. The answers you get depend to some extent on how the question is asked! Input from @aapor.bsky.social, @pewresearch.org, and others. (🎁 link)

Column | What’s America’s largest ethnic group, and why did we get it wrong for so long?
The identity of America’s largest ethnic group has long seemed cut and dried. But new data is challenging the conventional wisdom.
