My top 10 reads of 2024. I knew my top two for months but working out the other 8 was hard i read 126 books in 2024 so getting it down to 10! But to all the authors who i did read in 2024 thank you, i had some terrific reads that got me through some tough times. I appreciate all the work you do. 💕

My latest acquisitions, yesterday in book mail i was lucky to get a proof copy of Tom Hindle's new book due for release on the 16th January. As well as that i received a proof of Montes on Surviving The Fire by Christine Murphy due for release in March thanks to the publishers Century and Headline

I have finished reading this debut novel today, what a read it is. With family secrets, jealousy, Love, Loss. Set in 1921 and 2019. I loved the main characters Simon, Olivia, Elise and Grace. I highly recommend this book. But a warning you may need tissues. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ read.

What anm i reading now, i have just received this from the publishers hadn't realised it was out on the 21st i thought it was next year but i am about to start it and see if my mind will let me focus to read it. As i have a lot going on i am struggling to read. It is Night Road by Kristin Hannah.

Out this week City of Silk by Glennis Virgo. Set in Bologna, Italy. In the sixteenth century. As the main protagonist Elena Morandi wants to be a tailor but women are not allowed to be tailors. Elena had been taught the craft by her father. Orphaned at 10, can she succeed. Full review 21st nov

Check out Kim's Promise by Susan Brandt this book is aimed at 11-18 year olds but i am a bit older than that and absolutely loved this book, a younger me would have enjoyed it as well. My full review will be available on my blog jackiesreading4leisure on the 21st Nov. You can grab a copy now.

Coming this week Book 2 in the brilliant Kanha and Colbey thrillers. Palisade by Lou Gilmond. My review will be live on the 18th. This is a terrific political thriller set in London and Houses of Parliament.

My current read is The Black Loch by Peter May. An engrossing, engaging read. Loving it so far almost half way through. Out next month.

Looking for a good read with lots of twists and turns, surprises you won't see coming then give this a go out next week. 5⭐️read. Pace starts slow as you are introduced to all the characters, but after that it is non stop. Thank you to @the_likely_suspects #Simon&SchusterUK for my gifted copy. 💕💕💕📚

What are you reading today? I am reading The First 48 Hours By Simon Kernick due for release on the 9th November with Thanks to #Headlinepg for my ARC. I’m half way through and loving it a fast paced thriller read. Definitely one to look out for. Fast paced gripping read.

Here’s my dog, although she isn’t mine anymore but I still get to see her. I have been in and out of hospital the last 3 years 14 operations trying to save my leg, she became attached to the family who have had her for me and she gets lots of walks. Operation 15 on 21st November last chance.
