I’m sorry to hear that. When you have so little control over what’s happening it is a relief to be able to draw some lines. Sending you both strength and positivity.

As someone dealing with a terminal illness, I hope the bill goes through to the next stage. It’s time for change and I feel this bill has plenty of safeguards to protect the vulnerable. Dying people should have this option…it doesn’t mean they will always take it.

I read this with interest. I’m 63 and was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer a year ago. I’m well but the clock is ticking. I know that there is wonderful palliative care available but I would still like assisted dying to be a choice…even if I don’t take it.
