I see individual politicians like I see individual cops. Shouting that they want to change the system inside, but once they’re in, little changes because they realize they aren’t a cog in the machine. They’re it’s PR team.

You’re right. I took your defense of dems as a defense of the dems facade of progressivism. Which is ridiculous because the dems aren’t progressive. And even their most fringe reps that say they’re progressive are barely left of center.

You’re moving away from my point. It was the dems that caved. Forsake those in the red states, like myself, to get the half win. Which they have always and will always do. Otherwise they wouldn’t have a platform to run on every four years of “oh no big scary republicans.”

Passing the ACA was a great win… for the states that elected to implement it because the dems caved to donor and republican whims to make it a state by state opt-in.

Your error, like most dems and liberals’, was thinking that you’re the left, and that anyone speaking in opposition must be from the conservative right. Which further emphasizes my point.
