This time of year is a little nutty but we made a last minute visit to Santa and the excitement & joy was palpable.

Took the kids to the mall to escape the cold while solo-parenting for the weekend.

Of course dropped my purse with my wallet. Went back to look and it was gone.

Got home and found this, with my bag in our door. The world is dark & ominous but so glad good people exist!

Buffalo southtowns is a wild place. We got 20 inches of snow in 24 hours and our village still hosted a parade in the middle of it.

The snow is starting. We may get anywhere between 0.5 inches and 4 feet. Wish us luck.

Hanging out with my 4yo old this morning?

My husband is going out of town right before our first forecasted lake effect snow in Buffalo so he labeled the snowblower. True love.

When we talked about having a second baby I worried our oldest would be upset or not like the baby. So lucky we were so wrong.

My 10mo is napping so my 4yo of course insists on leaning right on me.
