The thing I like about this is we can measure impact by demographic group and poke at each other… similar to when groups were raising money for Kamala Harris. It drives engagement.

Y’all are doing great work! I had the idea, but chat gpt helped organize and clean it up. Just wanted to share. I’m readyyyy to strike! Hahaha

Fair enough, and I appreciate the olive branch. I agree, we probably do share more common ground than it seems here. I’ll follow back, and we can continue the discussion when you’re ready. Rest well—talk soon!

How do we hold everyone accountable—Jewish, Palestinian, or otherwise—if speaking out is automatically seen as hate? Celebrating death and destruction on any side is heartbreaking, and I think we need to be able to call that out without fear of being misunderstood.

I hear what you’re saying, and I appreciate you pointing out how my words could come across. I absolutely believe antisemitism is wrong and must be condemned. At the same time, does that mean we can’t challenge harmful behaviors or policies without being labeled antisemitic?

If peace was truly the goal, shouldn’t emphasis be addressing the root causes that push people to these extremes? This isn’t about choosing sides—it’s about fairness and humanity.

Yes, groups like Hamas and Islamic Jihad commit violence, and that’s wrong. But can we also ask what drives people toward these groups? How does the daily oppression of Palestinians through land seizures, checkpoints, and restrictions feed into that cycle?

I get where you’re coming from, and I absolutely agree that antisemitism is wrong. But criticizing Israeli policies isn’t antisemitism—it’s about holding systems accountable. Both Israelis and Palestinians deserve safety and dignity, and ignoring the harm Palestinians face doesn’t help anyone.

Your username suggests love for humanity, but the way you frame this conflict seems to dismiss the shared responsibility for where things stand today. Shouldn’t empathy extend to recognizing the harm caused by both sides, including those we support?
January 20, 2025 at 1:26 AM
Empathy goes both ways. I can acknowledge the pain on all sides, but we also need to talk about how Israel’s actions fuel this violence. Ignoring the systemic oppression that creates this cycle doesn’t solve anything—it just keeps it going.

I found it ironic because you frame yourselves as the sole victims while ignoring the broader context of power dynamics and systemic actions. It’s not about dismissing feelings but acknowledging responsibility on all sides.

A cryptocurrency tied to political power? That’s not innovation—that’s a playbook for centralized influence disguised as decentralization. Watch where the money flows, not just the headlines.

Yes, it’s tragic that Israelis were killed, but we already know that. The real question is: Why did this happen? If they don’t address the deeper causes—like the systemic injustices that fuel this violence—they’ll stay stuck in a cycle of outrage and retaliation instead of finding real solutions.

This is like when people focus on condemning protests in the U.S. instead of addressing the systemic racism that caused them. The same goes for Gaza—recognizing the root causes of occupation and oppression isn’t excusing violence, it’s about breaking the cycle that created it.

Hamas wasn’t founded until 1987—40 years after the UN partition. In that time, Palestinians faced the Nakba, Israeli occupation (1967), and fought for self-determination through the PLO. Focusing only on Hamas ignores decades of oppression and resistance.

Perhaps one day you’ll reflect critically on the history of this conflict and recognize how Israeli policies have fueled the very circumstances they now condemn.
