After an excellent debate on 3/7 led by @rebeccalongbailey.com the consensus was to “get around the table”. #Mediation under Civil Procedures Rule 2024 is the common sense way forward for ALL #50swomen. @cathynewman.bsky.social it’s time for the truth to be exposed!

The West Wales branch of the largest #50swomen group in Wales (1950s Women of Wales) stand by this by #CEDAWinLAW. If #WASPI Board have any integrity they will stand down after leading #50s women up the path of a non legally binding PHSO process, seeking only partial maladministration for a few.

Labour's budget doesn't even touch the sides when it comes to the challenges confronting our public services.
We were promised things would be better with two Labour governments in power, but this budget is more about papering over cracks than addressing the real challenges facing our communities.

The tax-free £10 Christmas Bonus is going into bank accounts around now. It is paid to 12 million pensioners and others on long term benefits such as widows and some disabled people. First introduced in 1972 when the basic state pension was £6.75 a week, today it should be £251.
