Abysmal for 40mins.... Couldn't get anything going. Tons of errors. But Prendergast had a lovely cameo to flatter the scoreline in the end. Japan were great imo.

Pretty mad isn't it? I thought it was absolutely wonderful. Never read the book, but it was just wonderfully shot as well. I left just thinking about all sorts of little bits and sub-stories, and relationships etc. Brilliant I thought.

Gutted for the man. He's an absolute machine. Hardly misses a game, bit like Doris in that sense. And then now getting injured. Brutal stuff.
