Bluesky seems to have opened up a fair amount in the past few weeks, user numbers appear to be approximately 43,000.

Appreciate that there’s a drive to the waitlist, but for users seeking to grow their Bluesky following from other apps it seems strange that profile URLs don’t direct to profiles (even when logged in)

I can be posting as this account but when I tap the profile icon it goes to the other account.
Only way to rectify is to close app and reboot. Got a video if it helps

Bluesky day one observations:
- Interface is simple
- “post” not “tweet” (obvs)
- 300 character limit is plenty
- No ads (so far)
- DMs don’t appear to be a thing
Cons:
- Can’t add alt text
- Translating sends you out of the app to Google which seems clunky
