some good stuff from HF on the limitations of individual consent. however, rather than 'fiduciaries' as new intermediaries for data, I think the target should be assigning stronger accountability to existing actors. thanks a lot, there's bits I'll pick out there! I'm focusing on data for research rather than operational data sharing, as a) the design space then becomes too wide and b) there's a big risk of missing the significant research data infra we already have

I find the disconnect between discourses like 'data can't/shouldn't be financially valued' vs the very real, ongoing practice of pricing and charging for data access quite confusing.

eg circular discussions on NHS data vs CPRD charging up to £360k pa, right now, for access to primary care data
