True. But it doesn't mean that some companies don't look into that. I think I read somewhere that a lot of newer companies are looking for VAs who have more social media influence. They won't want any drama in the future so I'm sure they'll look into some of their posts.

While I do understand the point you're making here, it's also a difference in job types. Steelworkers don't need fans. But a Voice Actor, who not only has very little fans but also a TON of people who dislike them, will dissuade new companies from wanting to work with that VA.
