I did this. The drop from 1mg is like the drops from 20 to 10 to 5 etc. You'll get withdrawl but it's more manageable. Prepare to make yourself busy or get tetchy.

At the moment we're taxing all taxbands as high as we've ever done except we're paying tax to stand still because we, as a country, borrowed very large amounts of debt to pay people to be furloughed for a year and grants to get working again.

Taxing the 1% properly doesn't raise much cash compared to raising tax a small amount for everyone. This is another grown up conversation we need to have as a country.
