I feel that too! I had to learn to let myself have breaks, though. Forcing myself to keep writing was just burning me out and giving me writers block. A trick that works for me is not releasing anything until I'm almost finished writing the story. Then I don't feel pressured to hurry to get more out

Protect your peace! We are not machines. You definitely deserve a break! ❤️ Personally, I enjoy taking reading breaks between bouts of writing. The closer I get to the end, the more I want it to be over with already. Then immediately after finishing the story, I miss them and get sad!

Viktor convinces him he's going to make hextech with or without him. He also convinces Jayce that he will do so even if it costs more lives. Jayce has to stay out of guilt to make sure this crazy guy doesn't kill anyone else with his research. Vik villainizes himself to give Jayce a purpose to live.

Jayce actually had to be convinced to leave because he felt like he deserved it for a kid dying and Viktor's stipulation for helping him is that they will continue his research. Eventually he concedes, knowing he will die if he stays, and manages to fall in love with magic again through Viktor.

Viktor broke him out with his cleverness. Caitlyn assumes he died in there and the escapee thing is a coverup. Nobody really knows why the water seems cleaner lately and the air is more breathable. Someone keeps leaving life changing medicine in The Last Drop and no one knows where it came from.

Somebody write 200k words of Vik stealing Jayce's research & being so enchanted by it that he breaks Jayce out. Jayce develops an intense attachment to his savior because he has to be hidden away from everyone else (And he was doomed in there). They make hextek that betters Zaun in secret together
