I do really like this sculpt to be fair.
But they need to up the game a bit.

I love the old kroxigor sculpts.
For older models, they still paint up so damn nicely.
Do need to take a break now though.
Skin is done and scales need highlighting, but painting their eyes has made me feel blind 😆

Pulled the trigger and started on my 500 points of 5th edition lizardmen.
All basing will be done at the end to make sure it matches.
Varying stages of painting, but the skink warriors, chief and salamander are finished.
Enjoying painting stuff bright for once!

True, but the shape is there, you can tell what it is from a mile away and it already looks damn good.

Decided to do some 3D designing.
Want to start a Gnome old world army, but Gnomes need caravans 😆
Trying to design it modular for variety.
Will be pulled by 2 fenrisian wolves painted up as foxes in the end.

Well, managed more progress than I expected.
It's mostly done now, just need to add damage and patchwork metal plates etc.
Once it's printed I can add some chain and do a bit of sculpting work.

So he needed a giant metal rhinox.
Because of rules, it's now stonehorn sized 😆

Got these available too and the bug like heads are amazing.
I apply them in thin layers and make sure i blow away any excess, so i don't actually bother to even fix it.
Never had any issue with it coming off unless you touch the area of pigment and I play games pretty often, so they get abused.
I use these ones, just shop about as they are cheaper.

And there is the scorpion done for now.
Later on I'm doing all bases in bulk.
Just wanted it tabletop ready and get an army done, then I can go back and add more to it.
Happy with it considering it was a pretty quick job.

Finally passed the horrible looking WiP stage and it's at the point i can see it coming together now.
Just basecoating up all the armour trim and then I can work on that.
