Letterboxd last four Friday
Went and replayed this in one sitting last night, and I ended up liking it a lot more upon replay. The game still could’ve been MUCH better, and it’s definitely unpolished, but for what it is, it’s quite good! I think it’s my second favorite RE game so far

I forgot to tweet abt it but I went and tried out Wesker Mode. On the plus side, playing as an overpowered BOW in this hard af game is REALLY satisfying. On the other, the inventory system is still terrible, and overall it’s just not a game that I’m dying to replay, so I don’t think I’ll finish

Ik ur probably very likely almost definitely right, but I’m still holding out hope that it’ll be Grace, I already like her character based on the little we’ve seen
Or who knows, maybe they’ll pull a fast one on us and have it be the stalker enemy instead, because that could tOTally happen… right???

And done! That was good! Definitely a bit frustrating at times, but not as consistently as 0 was. Actually, in retrospect it seems that my main gripe comes from the boss fights being a bit annoying. Maybe it’s the old controls, maybe it’s me, idk 🤷 oh well

That was fun! I liked it! But it could’ve been so much better. Nemesis should’ve been in more than 50% of the game and he shouldn’t have mutated so drastically so as to make it impossible for him to appear more afterward

Nemesis is cool as hell, even if he’s not here all that much. The remake’s design is really slept on; I like it a lot personally

Just finished Leon’s campaign, that shit was awesome. Wow. The double final boss is craaazy. Having Mr. X’s final form resemble the T-002 Tyrant from the first game was really cool

This one is easily my favorite so far. That said… it does kinda feel like it’s lost the same personality/charm that the other two had. But also I’ve only played for about an hour, so that could change.
(It didn’t. I wish they’d at least kept the scrapped UI concepts, but oh well)
