I can tell you from personal experience this won’t work with Mac, macOS has a very shallow limit on how many hubs you can nest. If my KVM is plugged into a usb port on my caldigit dock, kb/m don’t make it to the Mac. I have to use a thunderbolt port which doesn’t go through the internal hub on dock.
