So many tech companies right now are dumping the goodwill and respect they’ve sought to earn from customers. Don’t see how they’ll benefit from this strategy if resentful customers take their business elsewhere.

Kind of funny how SQLite + Local-first web apps are trending right now when we had SQLite on the browser back in 2009. Seems like a huge mistake that it was deprecated. developer.chrome.com/blog/depreca...

Web SQL was first proposed in April 2009 and abandoned in November 2010. It was removed from Chrome in steps, initially in insecure contexts, then completely as of Chrome 119.

Watched a bunch of the Secret Level episodes last night. The overall vibe of the series is so bleak. Like the PacMan episode was so off from what I think of that game. I’m convinced Nintendo is the only company that makes happy games. Strange times.
